April 9 – 14
Beautiful park in a fun town. Pretty historic downtown filled with stores and restaurants.
April 10 – went to hike in the Red Rocks State Park, but couldn’t bring Dexter so we went further down the road and hiked in the Nation Forest near Cathedral Rock. Hike included a decent river crossing and fantastic views of the red rocks. Don’t think we found any vortexes.

April 11 – Matt when on a Mountain bike ride while Dexter, Benat and I hiked out to Devil’s Bridge. I thought the trail brought you to the bottom and could choose to hike up top. However this was not the case, trail brought you almost to the top with no view until you are on top next to the bridge. Reading the description of the trail I assumed the last rock scramble would be too difficult for me, but with the help of some kind strangers I made it up! One guy brought Dexter up and another waited to help pull me up if needed. Another kind lady offered to wait and take my photo out on the bridge. It was AWESOME! The whole trail was 4 miles and I was tuckered by the end, not much water so I had to carry food and water for all of us.

April 12 – Matt went for a bike ride and the rest of us hung around the campground.
April 13 – Drove to the “ghost town” of Jerome. Quaint town purched on the side of a hill with amazing views. Lots of old buildings but maintained and filled with tourist shops.
