Grand Canyon National Park

April 16 – 19

We arrived at the Desert View Campground around 1pm the day the campground opened. Most of the sites were already taken! Thankfully we did find a spot that was big enough for us. The max length (trailer and truck) is 30ft… and we are like 50ft… It was tight.

We were walking distance to an overlook, Navajo Point, and strolled there after we got everything set up.

April 17 – We jumped on the shuttle bus and saw some more spots along the south rim and hiked the Trail of Time/Rim Trail.

April 18 – Took the shuttle to the end of Hermit Road. There is an old building built by the railroad as a destination. Again, more spectacular views. That afternoon we bushwacked near the campground and found the best views (we hiked out on the ridge on the left).
